5 charged with smuggling drugs, alcohol to gang members at halfway house |

TRENTON -- Federal investigators have arrested five people, including two state employees, on charges they smuggled drugs and alcohol to residents of a halfway house in Trenton. The suspects were arrested last Friday following a three-year investigation of contraband funneled inside the Bo Robinson Education and Training Center on Enterprise Avenue, the U.S. Marshals Service said. The Bo Robinson center houses inmates and offers corrections and rehabilitation services for state agencies, including the N.J. Department of Corrections (DOC) and N.J. State Parole Board.
