Maine Department of Corrections reports escaped inmate |

The Maine Department of Corrections issued a warning to the public Tuesday about an escaped inmate. Robert John Berry, 46, fled from his home confinement around 1 p.m. Tuesday, the department said. He had previously been an inmate at the Mountain View Correctional Facility in Charleston, where he was serving a 16-month sentence for theft.
