Wyoming Inmate Rutland Dies at Wyoming Medium Correctional Institution

Torrington – Terrance William Rutland, a Wyoming inmate, died from a lengthy illness on Thursday, March 8, 2018 at the Wyoming Medium Correctional Institution in Torrington, Wyoming.

Rutland was sentenced on January 10, 2018 by Sweetwater County District Court Judge Richard L. Lavery. Rutland was serving the first of two consecutive sentences (7-12 years each) for Sexual Exploitation of Children.

Rutland was born on November 4, 1954 in Paso Robles, California.

As per departmental policy an autopsy has been ordered.
