Woman gets nine months in prison for spitting at inmate |

ZANESVILLE - A former inmate at the Muskingum County Jail was sentenced to nine months in prison for spitting on another inmate during a fight. Jami L. Waller, 29, of Pataskala, pleaded guilty in Muskingum County Common Pleas Court to harassment with a bodily substance, a third-degree felony. On Feb. 5, while she was an inmate in the jail, Waller got into an argument with another inmate and attempted to strangle her, Assistant Muskingum County Prosecutor Ron Welch said in court. While corrections officers attempted to remove Waller from the situation, she spit at the other inmate. Read More. |
