Inmate dies at County Correctional center in Banning |

BANNING, Calif.- - An inmate died after becoming ill while jailed at the Larry D. Smith Correctional Facility in Banning, authorities said Monday. The inmate died Sunday from a life-threatening illness at a hospital, Sgt. Richard Carroll of the Riverside County Sheriff's Department said. "The unidentified male was hospitalized for a few days where he was receiving medical treatment for his illness," Carroll said. Read More. |
