RENO, Nev. (KOLO)-- A Reno man serving time in prison has been convicted of trafficking in methamphetamine, the U.S. Attorney’s Office said Thursday. The U.S. District Court jury found Edward “Smitty” Smith, 53, guilty of conspiracy to possess and distribute at least 50 grams of methamphetamine, illegal use of a communication facility, money laundering, distribution of at least 50 grams of methamphetamine, and distribution of at least five grams of methamphetamine.
