A Monroe County jail inmate with roughly two months left on his sentence escaped Monday when he walked away from a work detail at a waste disposal and recycling center, authorities said. John Adam Cogdill, 38, escaped at about 2:45 p.m. while working at the Madisonville Convenience Center, according to a Monroe County Sheriff's Office news release. He was last seen heading west. Cogdill had 63 days remaining on his jail term for a misdemeanor violation of probation. Read More. |

Hamilton loves his family of five and badminton. His favorite sports ball team is the McGregor Dodgeballers. He has worked as a foreman on a chain gang, and later in life he was an architect of skyscrapers and tunnels. He was forced to give up his career because he was terrible at math.
