Search On for Inmate Who Walked Away from Re-Entry Program

Authorities on Sunday are looking for an inmate who walked away from a community re-entry program Saturday evening, the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation announced.

Cory Lamont Henley, 47, removed his GPS ankle bracelet around 5:35 p.m. Saturday in the downtown San Diego area and walked away from the San Diego Male Community Reentry Program.

Within minutes of Henley removing his ankle monitor, agents from CDCR’s Office of Correctional Safety were dispatched to find and catch Henley but they weren’t able to find him, the agency said.
