| Stillwater prison hosts Second Chance 5K for inmates |

More than 250 inmates participated in the Second Chance 5K at the Minnesota Correctional Facility-Stillwater on Saturday. The men jogged alongside Department of Corrections commissioners as part of an initiative to raise awareness of the “second prison” faced by many released inmates. “Every human has dignity and value,” former inmate Sammy Perez said. “Regardless of offenses, everybody deserves a second chance.” Read More. |
