LAS VEGAS (KSNV) — The Nevada Department of Corrections has received $326,000 for programs that combat substance abuse among inmates, according to a news release.
Money from the grant will go toward three programs in the state, with two in southern Nevada at the Florence McClure Women's Correctional Center and the Southern Desert Correctional Center.
The funding comes from the U.S. Justice Department's Residential Substance Abuse Treatment for State Prisoners Program, NDOC says.
