Aaron Hernandez, the former New England Patriots tight end who was convicted of murder last month, was reportedly involved in a prison fight at the Souza-Baranowski Correctional Center in Shirley, Massachusetts, Monday just one month into his life sentence. CNN reported that Hernandez acted as a lookout for another inmate, who entered a prisoner's cell and started a fight. The one-time football star was convicted of first-degree murder and sentenced to life without parole on “It was two-on-one, he was part of the two,” one law enforcement official told ABC News. All three involved are being disciplined, and Hernandez has been placed in the Special Management Unit. A source told ABC the incident involved gangs and, after the fight, prison officials reportedly saw a new tattoo on Hernandez referencing the Bloods gang. Read More. |
