| Description: | The first WWICJJ national conference was in 1985 and is held every even-numbered year in a different state. The theme of the 2020 conference is “Future in Focus.” Workshops will be held to address organizational transformation and speakers will provide training to help women transcend gender-related occupational barriers and become effective leaders. We are expecting a large, enthusiastic crowd of corrections and juvenile justice professionals from across the United States to attend and share in the WWICJJ experience.
The WWICJJ 2020 national conference is open to all women who work in the corrections and juvenile justice professions in any discipline, including peace officers, health care providers, administrators and executives and will feature workshops, training, exhibits and opportunities for networking. We would greatly appreciate your participation and support of the 2020 WWICJJ national conference. We have many activities planned to support vendor/conference participant interaction and are anticipating an exciting event. |
