They shouldn’t matter unless they are locked up. Then you are responsible for disclosing that information. Then if you are at the institution they are locked up in they will be moved. |

No, they may call your siblings but not do a credit check. They called my sibling. |

I am in process of applying for a job in Massachusetts. I’ve read the high level information regarding what the process will be like, but wanted to know a little more about what they look into for the background check. I notice they do a credit check, which is fine, my credit is perfect and asked for my parents information etc. Do they want sibling information? Siblings credit, education, etc? I have kind of a screw up sibling and though they don’t have a record, I’d just rather not get into it, as we don’t speak much anymore. Will they essentially do an education and credit check on my siblings and parents and references? |
