Full-Time and Part-Time Correctional Officer positions are available at the Lancaster County Corrections Department, providing for the humane care and supervision of detainees in a safe and controlled environment. These positions have an excellent starting wage of $15.59 per hour and provide a great opportunity for a career in Criminal Justice. Part-Time positions allow you to select working hours that conform to your schedule. Full-Time positions offer annual merit wage increases (up to $22.82/hr) and a substantial benefits package. Sound judgement and good communication skills are important. Applicants must be a U.S. citizen, at least 19 years old, possess a valid driver’s license and have no felony convictions. The successful completion of a physical and a substance abuse test are also required.
