| Description: | HOBBY SHOP COORDINATOR (SO1145) The candidate will organize and implement daily leisure time activities for facility residents including team sports, indoor recreation, physical exercise, arts program, religious program and outside entertainment. Typical duties include: * Supervise craft activities of the recreation department * Contact outside agencies or groups to provide events or shows that will enhance the recreation program * Accountability for residents and security of facility * Provide orientation for outside guests to consist of institutional guidelines and program overview The right candidate will have: * A high school diploma or GED * 1 year experience in group recreational activities, preferably in an institutional setting |
