| Description: | Corrections Superintendent Belknap County Laconia, N.H. Belknap County Correctional Facility, located in the scenic Lakes Region of New Hampshire, is seeking a highly motivated, experienced individual to work in a team environment to provide leadership and policy direction for the county correctional facility. The facility, which has a department staff of 31 full-time employees, offers a full range of correctional services and can care for a maximum of 110 inmates. Minimum Qualifications: Bachelors’ degree in criminal justice or a related field with a master’s degree preferred; 3-5 years of progressively responsible related experience; or any combination of education, training and experience that provides the knowledge, skills and abilities required for the job. Licenses and Certifications: State certification as a corrections officer by the NHAC Certification Board or the ability to become state certified within six months. |
