Is working in a multi-disciplined team what you are looking for? If so, read on! The Position: Snohomish County Facilities is known for its excellent customer service and proactive approach. We are looking for a senior Facilities maintenance technician to provide expertise for HVAC, electrical and building control systems. You will be responsible to troubleshoot, maintain and recommend electrical and mechanical systems, optimize building equipment for best operation and energy conservation. The multi story buildings are a combination of both old and new technology presenting opportunity for many building equipment and system improvements. The Tech IV position works with and mentors a team of eight talented and tightly knit coworkers which is a part of the County’s Facilities Management team, reporting to the County Executive office. The Ideal Candidate: The Facilities Technician IV requires necessary experience and training to independently maintain commercial HVAC, building controls, electrical and security systems. The candidate must have strong communication skills to interact, collaborate, and prioritize problems with coworkers, customers and management. The candidate must have experience supervising others, effectively training others, providing preventive and predictive maintenance, evaluating the technical adequacy and liability of devices that support safe practices in a critical environment Special qualifications include possession of a WA State Electrical License: (01, 06, or 07) or equivalent experience, a WA State Driver’s License, a valid First Aid and CPR card within 6 months of employment, ability to pass a criminal history background investigation and a post-offer physical exam. |
