This announcement serves as notification of registration for the Deputy Sheriff and Deputy Constable’s entry-level law enforcement exam. In order to qualify and sit for the written examination, candidates must (1) complete an online application via Dallas County’s iRecruitment System, (2) meet the minimum qualifications, and (3) register at the following location only. Note: Candidates who do not complete an online application or register in person will not be eligible to take the written examination. Special consideration will be given to candidates who live outside the Dallas/Ft. Attach an original transcript(s) from all colleges/universities attended to the Exam Registration Form when you register in person. (*Official transcript required). ** Step 3. Provide proof of TCLEOSE certification, a copy of your DD214 (if applicable) and proper identification when you register in person (i.e.,Driver’s License, Dallas County ID badge) ** (*) College degrees or college hours completed are only accepted from post-secondary educational institutions that have been accredited to grant degrees by one of the national or regional accrediting agencies in the United States, as recognized by the United States Department of Education.
