OPENING: MAY 17, 2013 CLOSING: OPEN UNTIL FILLED (1ST screening 6/3/2013) Grade: 56 Starting Salary: $51,975 – $76,956 DOQ This position is exempt from payment of overtime under the Fair Labor Standards Act. Minimum Qualifications: A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with a major in Psychology, Criminal Justice Administration, Social Work or related degree and four years of experience in program management. (Additional relevant education from an accredited college or university may substitute for two years of the aforementioned experience) OR Eight years of experience in public administration, communications, management, or psychology. OR One year of experience with Pima County as a Program Coordinator. Special Notice Items: This position will work at the Pima County Jail in the Restoration to Competency Program. All positions require satisfactory completion of a background investigation due to need for access to law enforcement, corrections and court facilities, property, communications’ systems and associated confidential and sensitive information, documents and databases. Licenses and Certificates: A current Arizona Class D vehicle driver's license is required at the time of appointment. The successful applicant will be subject to a 39-month Department of Transportation Motor Vehicle Record review to determine applicant’s suitability to operate county vehicles in accordance with Pima County administrative procedures.
