Corrections Officer I positions are now open, with starting pay of $20.13/hour. If you work 2pm to 10pm or 10pm to 6am, you will receive a $0.30/hour shift differential for the first year, then you will receive a $0.50/hour shift differential. Pay increases to $20.58/hour after successfully completing three months of employment. Pay increases to $21.12/hour after successfully completing nine months of employment. Pay increases to $22.16/hour after successfully completing one year probationary period. Pay increases to $22.72/hour after successfully completing two years of employment as a Corrections Officer I. |
| Special Instructions: | Candidates must:
Be at least 18 years of age; Have a high school diploma/GED; Be felony-free; Possess a valid Driver’s License; and Have no DUI convictions in past 24 months. Successful Candidates must pass a background investigation, employment check, drug screen, and physical.
