| Description: | Community Education Centers (CEC) is a leading provider of reentry and jail management services. CEC’s Jail Management Division provides a broad range of service options including inmate transportation, security and control functions, booking operations, staff recruitment and training, classification, food, medical and dental services, systems and physical plant maintenance, case management, commissary, recreation, data management, transportation, and or pre-release planning and coordination.
The Jail Management Division consists of 8 facilities that maintain a secure environment for over 4,500 detainees and inmates. We are seeking a Warden at the George W. Hill Correctional Facility located in Thornton, PA. This facility houses over 2000 pre-trial, sentenced, county, state and federal offenders. The Warden shall serve as the chief administrator of the facility. He/She will be directly responsible for ensuring that the facility goals and objectives are achieved in accordance with CEC Secure Facilities Division policies and procedures as well as those policies and procedures of Delaware County and other customer jurisdictions. A Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university, preferably in Criminal Justice or a Behavioral Science is preferred. A minimum of ten years of successful leadership experience in a correctional facility with a design capacity of at least 1000 inmates is preferred. Individuals with strong leadership ability, sound judgment, effective administrative ability and thorough knowledge of the corrections industry are encouraged to apply.
