Candidates must submit an application through the County’s web site at www.co.columbia.or.us in addition to taking the testing through National Testing Network (NTN). Salary: $3,538 - $5,183 with additional pay for DPSST certification. Job Requirements Veterans and those who have never worked in the field are encouraged to apply. This is a Civil Service position that is full time, 40 hours per week (plus regular required overtime) on a rotating shift basis (day/swing/night) and part of the team at the Sheriff’s Office. Candidates must be 21years of age or older with a valid driver’s license, have a high school education, preferably with additional college level education in the law enforcement field. |
