Description: | Incumbent prepares lesson plans, handouts, visual aids, and schedules class rooms; conducts research and prepares testing instruments to evaluate class/teaching effectiveness; administers and monitors test materials; grades and evaluates test results; updates and revises test materials as indicated by test results; develops and implements cost-effective methods to provide real-time training utilizing computer work stations; creates and produces CD-based or intranet-based courses with video clips, audio, graphics, and required training materials; develops viable computer-based training options for each shift or a centralized kiosk area; monitors and evaluates computer-assisted program(s) to improve training; ensures students receives proper classroom instruction; maintains accurate and complete student records; counsels students who failed exam; oversees and administers remedial training/exams for students with learning disabilities; and performs other tasks assigned, which may not be specifically listed in the position description; however, are within the general occupational category and responsibility level associated with the employee's class of work. |
Special Instructions: | Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Education, Psychology, Human Resources Management, Business/Public Administration, or other related fields. An equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered. EACH APPLICANT MUST INCLUDE INFORMATION THAT CLEARLY AND CONVINCINGLY DEMONSTRATES THE ABOVE QUALIFICATIONS FOR THIS POSITION. Additional Information: PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Candidates must demonstrate knowledge and experience developing eLearning content such as: Experience working with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Publisher, and Excel.
