| Pa. chief named Warden of the Year |

Craig Lowe, warden of Pennsylvania’s Pike County Correctional Facility, received the Warden of the Year award during the Pennsylvania Prison Wardens Association’s annual spring training symposium. Lowe was selected from about 100 wardens and superintendents who manage Pennsylvania DOCs. In a statement, Pike County commissioners lauded Lowe for his accomplishments since he became Pike’s warden in 2003. For example, during his tenure the facility received 100 percent compliance certificates from the Pennsylvania Department of Corrections Compliance Inspections. |
