T.I. reports to Arkansas prison to begin sentence on weapon charge Rapper T.I. entered an Arkansas federal prison Tuesday to begin a year and a day sentence on a weapon charge. Advertisement T.I., whose real name is Clifford J. Harris Jr., made a concert-like entrance to the Forrest City low-security prison. Prison officials said at noon that T.I. hadn't yet reported, but after a black conversion van pulled up 29 minutes later the prison said he had arrived. Guards blocked reporters and onlookers from coming near the facility on a rural state highway. It was not immediately clear if T.I.'s late arrival would affect his plea deal with prosecutors. A spokesman with the U.S. attorney's office in Atlanta said the federal Bureau of Prisons would decide whether T.I. would face any additional jail time or fines for showing up late.Read more.
