Three charged in aiding in jail escape, including inmate's mother |

SAN ANTONIO — Three people accused of helping three inmates escape the Bexar County Detention Center last week were arrested Thursday. The three inmates, identified as Luis Arroyo, Eric Trevino and Jacob Brownson, escaped the jail on Friday, March 2, but were caught by police after a tip came in that they were eating at a Sonic restaurant 10 minutes away from the jail. Sheriff Javier Salazar said the mother of one of the inmates who escaped and friend of another helped the three men break out. Fifty-nine-year-old Gabriella De Arroyo and 17-year-old Marcos Maldonado were arrested Thursday and charged with aiding in escape. Read More. |
