LINCOLN, Neb. — Two staff members were injured by inmates in separate assaults at the Lincoln Correctional Center Wednesday. The Department of Corrections sent a release that indicated the first assault was around 1 p.m. when an inmate punched a male staff member in the face. He was able to restrain the inmate until help arrived, officials said. He suffered a mild concussion and a chipped tooth. Read More. |
