Article: Spectrum Health Systems, Inc. welcomes Christopher Petrozzi as its new Executive Vice President of Correctional Services. Mr. Petrozzi brings over 21 years of progressive treatment and criminal justice experience in both the public and private sectors. Mr. Petrozzi's responsibilities will include the leadership, administration and development of Spectrum's correctional services on a nationwide basis. Mr. Petrozzi's experience prior to joining Spectrum was at a large for-profit correctional treatment company with national oversight responsibilities. Previously, he was employed for nearly 11 years with the Colorado Department of Corrections in various management and administrative positions. A graduate of Siena College, Mr. Petrozzi received his Master's degree in Community Psychology from Russell Sage College. He currently resides in Colorado Springs, Colorado, with his wife and 13-year-old son. In addition, Spectrum recently announced the promotion of its Executive Vice President of Clinical Services, Peter Paolantonio, to the position of Chief Clinical Officer. Mr. Paolantonio will have companywide responsibility for all clinical designs, implementation, and evaluation. "As we at Spectrum and the addiction treatment industry adapt to the rapidly changing health care environment, the demands for evidence-based, outcome-driven clinical approaches will be paramount," said Spectrum President and CEO Charles Faris. "Peter is superbly prepared to lead us through these challenges." Mr. Paolantonio has been an employee of Spectrum for more than 30 years, developing, implementing and managing a variety of programs across Spectrum's multi-modality service continuum. In consultation with leading researchers, he established Spectrum's cognitive behavioral treatment approach for offender addicts, which includes specialized programming for minorities, pregnant addicts and dually diagnosed individuals. Mr. Paolantonio holds a Master of Science in Social Work degree and is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor. He resides in Atkinson, New Hampshire. |
